Powered by the multi-port, fuel-injected Monsoon 325hp, the Sunsetter VLX is another big-time Malibu winner. It runs on the SV 23 Diamond Hull, the same hull that carried the Response to world records. For 2001 this VLX model, at the time, had the new Diamond hull. It provided better top-end speed, handling, slalom wakes and with the Wedge, it enabled the intermediate to advanced rider to be totally satisfied. Most V-drives dont have tracking fins because they arent about performance, Malibus have them because they want this boat to track well and not roll up on its side when turning.
This is a great boat. It performs well, has very low hours, only freshwater used and looks great!!
